White Stuff Support Sail 4 Cancer

People shopping in White Stuff last Wednesday (29th September) probably found themselves doing a double take as they realised that the well dressed staff were all sporting rather unusual headgear.  From stripy beanie style hats with holes in odd places to a chicken and a union jack, it all looked a little weird at first glance…

It was in fact ‘Wear a Tea Cosy on your Head’ day at White Stuff stores nationwide as staff did a little extra to raise funds and awareness for local charities.

Sail 4 Cancer’s office team, based in Kingsclere, attended their local store in Newbury who have been long time supporters of Sail 4 Cancer.  The store has already donated over £2,000 during 2010 from various activities which have taken place; this is equivalent to the amount needed to send a family living with cancer away on a week’s riverboat holiday, swapping hospital appointments and treatment for quality time spent together creating positive memories to treasure in the future.
