Cruise 118’s Rivington Challenge!

Specialist cruise travel agent Cruise 118 (Part of World Travel Holdings – WTH) is entering a team into the Rivington Challenge in support of Sail 4 Cancer.  On Sunday 25 September, thirty employees from WTH will be taking part in the Challenge – a 2K Canoe and a 3K Run. The group want to raise as much money for Sail 4 Cancer as they can and have set themselves a fundraising target of £3,000.

Lynsey Smith from WTH says:

“In 2010 our MD, James Cole, attended a travel industry function and heard an inspiring speech about Sail 4 Cancer and the great work they do, providing water based respite days for families affected by cancer.  James made contact with the charity after the event and in the past six years WTH UK has raised over £40,000 for this magnificent cause.  The fund raising efforts of WTH and Sail 4 Cancer have enabled many families to be briefly taken away from the nightmare that they are living through and offer them the chance to rebuild relationships, create positive memories and have some quality fun time together.”
