Aldridge Sailing Club Will Go For 24 Hours!

After seeing what an amazing job Sail 4 Cancer is doing, Aldridge Sailing Club have decided to support the charity by entering the West Lancs. 24 hour dinghy race!
Having had members who have been through treatment for cancer and some sadly having passed away as result of it, Aldridge SC are delighted to be raising money to support Sail 4 Cancer in their aim to help individuals and families through the bad times and help improve their quality of life.
The sailing team is made up of a wide range of ages with the youngest being 11 and the oldest being over 70! Please help us raise money with any donation you can make as every bit helps and we will of course sail as hard as we can to help raise money for this excellent charity.

Sail 4 Cancer – About Us
Set up by a team of sailing enthusiasts in 2001, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Sail 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of water based days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of sport (e.g. sailing) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
