Driven to Extremes for this years Fastnet!

BONGANI TEAM AIM TO RAISE £5,000 for Sail 4 Cancer.

L&G Sailors

Legal & General Staff Graham Precey, Mark Edmed and Alison Terrar will be rasing monies for Sail 4 Cancer by completing the Rolex Fastnet Race in 2007 with Sailing experts Sailing Logic based in Shamrock Quay, Southampton

Sailing Logic's yacht Pronavia 38 "Bongani" (meaning "Be grateful" in Zulu) will leave Cowes on Sunday 13th August after the three intrepid Legal & General employees have done 2 training weekends and the 4 RORC Races to qualify for the mileage.

Our aim is to raise £5,000 in donations as a result of this race. This would take 5 famillies out to enjoy sailing in Greece with Neilson or fund a sailing centre in the UK for a year and take 30 people out on the water!

Let's hope that Graham and crew are "Bongani" (Grateful) when they step back on dry land at Plymouth! Each of these intrepid adventurers have paid £3,000 of their own money for the priviledge of this race so all monies raised will be solely donated to Sail 4 Cancer.

We can turn a £1 donation of your money into £2.28p for Sail 4 Cancer!

All of us work for Wealth Management company Legal & General and are grateful that we can match anything that you donate via the website pound for pound. So donate now. Not only that we can also get gift aid so your £1 donated really means that you have donated £2.28p.

So get donating! When you donate below you can also give us any good wishes or challenges you want us to do in exchange for money why we are offshore!...
