Sun Sail 2008 - a resounding success!

33 boats participating, 3 of which ended up broken, 8 stitches, 1 crushed hand and an exuberant amount of high spirits later and Sun Sail 2008 was complete!

Sail 4 Cancer and the London Sailing Project (LSP) have teamed up once again to offer teenagers who have suffered from cancer the opportunity to “get away from it all” – namely crewing an ocean-going yacht.


UK Wayfarer Association celebrates 50 years - and raises funds!

The 50th Anniversary of this famous dinghy is being celebrated at Parkstone Yacht club from August 19th to 30th. In addition to cruising events and the National Championships, funds will be raised for Sail 4 Cancer through an exciting charity auction.

Introduction:
As its name suggests, Sail 4 Cancer aims to raise significant funds for cancer treatment and research through the organisation of high profile sailing events. Sail 4 Cancer also provides sailing opportunities for cancer patients and their families, in the hope that their quality of life may be improved. For more information on our Objectives, click here.

Our current programme of fund raising events includes Tall Ship Challenge days, regattas such as the Yarmouth Regatta and the Finance Shield, to participating in the infamous Fastnet.
