Hayley Carter's Liferaft Challenge!

Sunsail team member Hayley Carter will be braving the November weather by spending 24 hours in a liferaft on the 9th and 10th of November at Port Solent - Sunsail's UK Headquarters!

A number of Sunsail staff have decided to spend 24 hours in a liferaft on the 9th and 10th of November to raise funds for Sail 4 Cancer - one of Sunsail's Official Charities. Participants of the Sunsail sponsored raft are staging this challenge to raise awareness of the 1,000 people who are diagnosed with the disease every 24 hours.

Commenting on her challenge, Hayley said "I feel strongly about the cause as I have friends and family members who have been affected by Cancer. A close friend of mine is currently battling this disease and this is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness. In my younger years I did my sea survivors course and spent a few hours both cold and wet in a liferaft. Spending 24 hours in a liferaft in November is going to be pretty tough!"
