Commenting on the challenge, Graham Precey said "Spending 24 hours in a liferaft in November will be a pretty uncomfortable experience. Because of the cold and the fact that liferafts are rarely dry inside, we're going to have to wear survival suits! These things are uncomfortable for an hour, let alone 24! What's more, there is a good chance that we'll develop sea-sickness even though we are in the harbour due to the unusual movement of the raft on the water and the fact that we won't be able to see the horizon from inside the raft. However, compared to the rigours of cancer treatment this will be easy. I look forward to meeting members of the public there on the day... please do come down and see us on the day!"
