Wight Challenge in support of Sail 4 Cancer

Wightlink Wight Challenge 2012

As the name suggests, the Wight Challenge takes place on the beautiful Isle of Wight and is a fantastic opportunity to raise much needed funds for Sail 4 Cancer whilst having a load of fun at the same time. You can bring your family and friends along to encourage you - they can even join you for the celebration meal at the end.

Canoes (plus a buoyancy aid and a paddle!) are supplied, you can hire a bike or bring your own, plus Wightlink are offering complimentary ferry travel for all competitors.

You have two opportunities to participate:
Saturday 19th May 2012 - 8.30am start (registration 7.30, briefing 8am)
Saturday 22nd Sept 2012 - 12 noon start (registration 11am, briefing 11.30am)

Each event has a limited number of places for teams of three - each participant has to complete all three stages of the challenge and everyone competing for Sail 4 Cancer has to raise at least £100 for the charity. The entry fee is £45/person which includes a (well deserved) meal at the end. (You can order extra meals for your supporters for a small extra cost.)
